Our Church
Mt. Lebanon Christian Church (MLCC) is often referred to as the "red brick church beside the tennis courts" and is a "small town" church in the heart of Mt. Lebanon; a place where everybody knows your name. Our congregation includes members from the Mt. Lebanon community and surrounding South Hills communities of the greater Pittsburgh area.
Who Are We?
Mt. Lebanon Christian Church was established in 1950. We are part of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), a mainline national denomination with over 1.3 million members in the U.S. and Canada.
We are focused on Faith, Fellowship, and Love. We welcome all seekers, young and old. Our house is God's house and you are welcome here in it.
What is the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) ?
The Christian Church is a group working to unite all Christians in one body and worshiping and serving Christ in their own way.
The Christian Church stands for:
Christian Faith - A personal relationship with Christ, whose life and ministry reveal God's will.
Christian Unity - Helping each other; working, worshipping, and growing together in the way of the gospel.
Membership in the Christian Church involves:
Worship - Prayer and devotion are a Christian's greatest source of strength. There are no set uniform rules so each person can find methods that work best themselves.
Service - God has given each Christian unique gifts and talents. The church offers many and varied opportunities to put them to use worldwide.
Fellowship - Church members join together in many ways by sharing with each other joys and sorrows as well as helping one another to follow Christ's way every day.
